There is nothing better for me than to read while taking a bubble bath – pure heaven. A CFDP (caffeine free diet pepsi – so I can sleep), 2 macadamia nut clusters (from Costco), my current read and viola, I couldn’t be happier.
Enter my new Kindle – and the fact that I can’t multi-read; I can only be in the middle of one book at a time. So, what’s a girl to do when she’s reading a good book and the bubbles are calling?
Now, I haven’t read all my warranty stuff yet, but I’m assuming Amazon is not going to replace my Kindle if it comes back smelling of Coconut Lime Verbena. Although I’ve never had any great book tragedies while submerged, it would be very brave to temp the electronic furies with my new ereader.
Hmmm…I think my Kindle needs a swimsuit.
This is my answer to my Kindle’s fashion needs. It’s multifunctional – lightweight, waterproof, see through (key component) and cheap. Maybe I should patent? Check back for results.

I did nearly the same thing with my Sansa. I put it in a tupperware container so that I could listen to it when I was in the bath. My husband laughed at me and has since gotten me speakers so I don’t need to use the headphones. A girls got to do what a girls got to do though…..
